THOMAS J. VAN GORDER

67, of Ft. Wayne, passed away Sept. 5, 2016 at his home after a long battle with multiple illnesses. He was a retiree from Dana Corp.

Tom loved his family and was always there to lend a helping hand to whomever needed it. He will be tremendously missed by all who knew him!

Tom was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Jennie VanGorder, his sons Timothy VanGorder, Steve (Michele) Wysong, Joshua (Cassie) VanGorder, his daughters Stephanie Wysong and Michelle (Lucas) Hendrickson. He is also survived by his brothers Robert (Lorraine) VanGorder, Charles (Debra) VanGorder, Tom (Phyllis) Arms and his sisters Debra Armes, Susan (Kevin) Satchell and Wendy VanGorder. He has 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his parents James VanGorder, and Edward and Barbara Arms, sisters Kathy Ford and Joyce Stuff.

A celebration of his life will be held at The Point Church, 5335 Bass Rd. Ft. Wayne on Saturday. Sept 10, 2016 from 11am to 1pm.
