“What makes a Dad"
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of the night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then god combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it....Dad

As we travel our paths we: accept new friends, make acquaintances, learn new things, find out we don't know things we thought we did, and such. This is called our Journey. On my journey it has been one of my greatest pleasures to meet and be associated with Dana Ames Sr., not just as my father-in-law, golf partner, bowling team member, fishing teacher, life learning coach, and my friend.
To the family left behind, my deepest sympathy, thoughts, and prayers go with you all as you continue on your journeys, remembering what Dana was to and for each of you. He is now free of Earthly pain and suffering and shall forever live on in our hearts and minds, gone from here but never forgotten.
GOD speed Dana Ames Sr. congratulations on being reunited with you eternal father and savior. You will be missed by us all left behind. Fairwell my friend.
