SARA ANNE (WOLFE) FIELDS
Sara entered the world six weeks early on January 25th, 1975. She began life as a fighter and ended that way as well. Graduating from Wayne High School in 1993, Sara entered the workforce and soon found her calling – caring for people. She worked as a home health aid for many years, giving of her time, energy and even finances. She brightened the day of anyone who came in contact with her, her easy smile and infectious laughter will be remembered by all who knew her.
Sara's love of life was evident in everything she did. Her passions were her faith first, her children and husband next, her family and friends, animals, gardening, and her true passion, fishing!
In September of 2016, she contracted a one in a million disease, Transverse Myelitis, that once again left her in a struggle for her life. She fought back and stood firm in her faith in Christ, that she would one day walk again. On Sunday, August 19, her last battle began. Sara was an organ donor, giving a chance at life to four others, her last selfless act of service.
Sara was proceeded in death by her mother Rae Lee Moriarity and father Lewis C. Wolfe. She leaves behind her loving husband Paul, her daughter Abbigail Hord, and son Gabriel Hord. Two stepchildren Brooke Fields and Paul Fields III. Sisters Dawn (Dane) Anderson, and Teri Wolfe, best friend Ashley Arnold, as well as nieces Josie Wolfe and Amber Ault. Nephews Ethan Anderson, Heath Ault, Dakota Ault and Jonas Anderson.
A celebration of Sara's life will be held at Fellowship Missionary Church at Noon on Saturday, August 25th, 2018. The family will receive friends from 10am to service time. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park
