Obituary

ALYSON "A.J." ECKERT

23, of Huntington, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021, it is reported with great sadness, after a  battle with severe depression.

Alyson was born in Erie, Pa. on Nov. 25, 1997, and later moved to Florida, then Indiana. She was the daughter of Tammy L. Enders (Tim Hines). AJ has looked up to Warren Eckert, her uncle, for he has been the greatest influence she ever had. He helped her accomplish everything she needed to (those were AJ's words).

AJ enjoyed riding her motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and just plain enjoying what life had to offer her. "We will forever carry your memory in our hearts."

AJ is survived by her older brother, Cameron Eckert. She so loved getting into trouble with him. They were inseparable. AJ was also survived by a very special young man, Thomas Vogleman. She was preceded in death by her older brother, Vincent; maternal grandfather, James A. Enders; paternal grandmother and grandfather, Herman "Bud" and Patricia Eckert; and Evelyn Bloxson who she was adored by and said that AJ was the daughter she never had. They shared the same middle name and compared everything.

A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements by Siler Funeral Service, 8632 Decatur Road, Fort Wayne
