David Shroyer

Michael Dale (Mike) Shroyer

passed away Sept. 15th, 2021 in the loving home of his cousin Tracy Whan. Mike was born July 3rd, 1958 in Garrett, Indiana Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents Harry and Florence Shroyer and Kermit and Lileth Whan, his father Bernard Shroyer, his mother Janis Groll, his step-father James Groll, and a niece Tabitha Groll.

Mike is survived by his sisters Lana Ritter and Joy Terry and his brothers Jimmy Groll and Dennis Shroyer. He is also survived by 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 6 great- nieces and 5 great -nephews.

Mike enjoyed watching westerns, helping his neighbors, and spending time with his cousins Greg and Dick Fisher. His Uncle Ted and Aunt Kay Sutorius were like parents to him and he looked forward to their visits.

Memorials for Mike can be made to Visiting Nurses of Fort Wayne or Ave Marie Hospitality House in Fort Wayne. Dottie Campbell, from Ave Marie, has helped Mike and many others through the years. Dottie’s compassion and care has touched many lives through the years.

Cremation was handled compassionately and professionally by Siler Funeral Services. There will be no services at Mike’s request.
