Michael (Mike) Herrick passed away on Monday October 24.2022. Born to Bobbie E and E. Faye Herrick on July 9,1945. He grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children Michelle Garber (Ron) of Syracuse, Indiana, Theresa Ritchie (Dennis) of Beloit, Wisconsin, Kim Johson of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dawn Genevieve Murphy (Frank) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Tina Grayson (Russel) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Patricia Gatewood of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Michael Dazley of Hawaii. A sister Connie Easley of Fort Wayne Indiana. A sister-in-law Judith Herrick of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Bobbie E and E> Faye Herrick, daughter Donna Rollins, granddaughter Chelsea Jacobs, brothers David Herrick, Jefferey Banks, Donald Banks and sisters Judy Perez, Julie Banks, Karen Wysong, Nancy Banks and Brenda Johnson.
He enjoyed living life to the fullest. In the past he was a flea market vendor and enjoyed meeting many people and sharing his newest finds with his family. He enjoyed dressing up and decorating his home every year for Halloween, he would go all out.
He enjoyed fishing, bingo, and playing guitar. He taught himself to play the guitar at an early age.
In his pastime he enjoyed playing Farm Town for hours on end. He had a unsatiable sweet tooth and often blessed his family with his homemade candy.
Mike cherished most spending time with his family and being surrounded by family. Being with and seeing his grandchildren brought him joy and happiness.
Mike will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of life is being discussed and planned by his children and will be disclosed at a later date.
