William James Hettler

William James Hettle passed away suddenly August 1,2022. William, (Bill) to all who knew him well, he was a humble and private man with a true love of all sports. He loved his Chicago teams of the cubbies and Da bears. He was the funny guy, the man that saw life through a poetic lens. He loved his son and grandchildren beyond words. Writing poetry was his passion. He leaves his beast of a heart and angel od a soul with us to keep him close. Now he may rest in peace. As he would say "We are all passing through". 

He leaves behind his son Dennis M.S. Hettler, his grandchildren Benjamin Hettler, Dominic Hettler, and Wolfgang Hettler. He mother Susann Beery, his brothers Mike Hettler and Dave Hettler, and his sister Cindy Dawson. He was preceded in passing by his father Merle Hettler and his Uncle Jim Hettler, and his sister Janet Friend.
