I had the great honor of officiating the wedding ceremony for Matthew & Teri not so very long ago. I just discovered that he has passed away and I am so very sorry to hear of this sad news. I wish to extend my deepest condolences to all those who loved Matthew, because I know he will sorely missed. My heart goes out to all of you who loved him.

Matt was one of the older kids who watched over us younger kids growing up in Monroeville. He always had a smile and was a joy to be around. May Gods blessing be with Matt and his family.

I was so very sorry to hear of Matt's passing A fine fella. A long time ago, I spent a few years living with Matt and his family as a kid after my mother passed away. Our mothers were sisters, so as cousins, Matt and his siblings became my brothers and sisters too. I learned so much about relationships while living with them, as I came to realize as an adult, and since Matt and I were closest in age, we spent a lot of time together. He had the greatest influence on me. Because of him, my outlook on things broadened. I became more involved in sports and other outdoor activities because of his interest in them. There were shenanigans too. And even though we saw one another infrequently as adults, we always picked up where we left off. I do regret not having had more time with him as we aged. The time I did have revealed a fellow keen on life, family, and always ready with some hilarious commentary characterized with a rare wit. I know he's going to be missed by all who knew him. Gone too soon.

Rest easy Matt.

Matt,
I have thought about you thousands of times over the years and regret not contacting you. Still laugh and smile when I remember the fun we had as kids. God Bless you.

So many great memories of time spent with your family. You could always count on cousin Matt to mess with you. He was always laughing or making others laugh.
